Neighborhood Voices is an Emmy award-winning multimedia series sharing the real stories of change makers tackling public health, housing, education, and economic development across our city. This screening event will premiere Episodes 1–3, with time to connect, reflect, and celebrate the leaders, collaborators, and neighborhoods that inspire this work. The series is produced by local filmmakers through the Big Picture Alliance and Big Picture Productions in partnership with Chatterblast Media (supported by the Lenfest Institute's Every Voice Every Vote project).
Whether you’re featured in the series, part of the movement, or simply passionate about Philly’s future — we’d love for you to join us.
Register now, space is limited!

Episode 1 “Taking Care of Business”
Episode 2 “Same Day Work & Pay”
The "Same Day Work & Pay" program is an initiative of Philadelphia's Office of Community Empowerment that provides economic opportunity for the Philadelphians that need it most in partnership with community organizations. This short documentary highlights Mural Arts’ “Color Me Back” program which combines art making and access to social services, offering individuals experiencing economic insecurity an opportunity to earn wages while fostering community and supporting mental & emotional well-being.
Episode 3 “A Home From Shana”
"A Home for Shana" is a non profit that works to address black maternal health disparities that contribute to unacceptably poor maternal and infant health outcomes in underserved communities. This short documentary highlights the origins and impact of the organization - including it's founder Cleopatra Robinson, her friend Shana whose passing inspired the mission, and Philadelphia City Council Member Katherine Gilmore Richardson who has advocated for life saving maternal health initiatives.
Join us for the screening followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with the filmmakers and featured community partners.
Let’s come together to uplift community-driven solutions and build a collective vision for change!
